In fallout 3 in the main quest it had you turning on giant water purifier to clean the radiation from the water. How could you do this an is it possible to do this in real life?

Trying to filter the water could work... Best option by my knowledge would be distillation but that would be rather impossible to do with such quantity.

Or you could just wait 2000 years and wait for radioactive decay to do its job.

Used games are evil?

That what some would have you believe are they really that bad. The answer is yes and no depending on which side you are on. On one side of the divide who like to save money like me for example 2 months back  I got Red Dead Redemption for 27$ used at gamestop but everywhere else had it 40$ or 50$ I saved around 15$ an got bioshock 2 for 10$. For other side the game publishers like Rockstar an Take 2 didn't see a cent of of my money gamestop did. But I didn't buy the used games to hurt to them I  bought because gamestop had the better deal. And that key to why most people who buy used are not out to stick it to game publishers. It helps to save money when they don't have 60$ or more to spend on game when they have to worry about food gas and such.



Now publishers are starting to to use online pass to charge to any where from 5$ to 20$ to play online. My idea keep it at around 5 that not that bad . Start charging more than that there could be problems were people will got some where else. But here an better Idea why don't you work out deal between you and gamestop an other companies who make an profit on the of sale used games . An then everyone would be happy.  

Fallout 3 game of the edition ps3 review

Pros: lot of guns  and the dlc one disc
Cons:  bugs and not the radroach either
WTF : have you play the game


Fallout 3 is first fallout game that I played. I be came aware of it after watching e3 demo in 08 I think around the same time I got my ps3. So I ask for it for christmas that year little did I know that ps3 fallout 3 had more bugs and out right crashes. Granted Bethesda did release a patch for the problem later on but it didn't it help me one bit. See I  didn't have the ps3 hook to the internet at that time so I sold it but I still like the game setting but game didn't like me also at that time xbox and pc owners where getting all the dlc none for the ps3. This brings us up to christmas last year were I got an 50$ gift card for gamestop an plus they were having their buy 2 get on free sale. So got fallout 3 game of the edition, assassin creed 2 and dragon age origin. 


Now the big difference between fallout 3 and the game of the year edition are that it took more hours to run in to those freezes and crashes but those could be fix by uninstall you game date. Also mothership zeta has a bug when you first get beam up when get to part of  an alien medical experiment it will freeze up do the uninstall your game date this will fix as well. The game is playable but you have to uninstall your game date at times this got me about another 10 to 20 hours out of it.

I don't think that goes there

This game has a lot different type of weapons some of which are straight from sci fi movie or tv show. 
Like a plasma pistol and rifle to an Fat Man nuclear catapult. Now this might look an call of duty style of game you would be dead wrong. Run in guns a blazing into horde of super mutants will get you killed 9 time out 10. But you have some help in vats Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System

VATS let you pick your shots 

As you can see with vats you can pause an then target specific body areas for attacks, inflicting specific injuries. which is great for take out your enemies. 


An know for meat of the game an why I have so much fun playing is big open world that has at least 50 hours or more trying to find everything the has to offer. Fallout 3 takes place in the year 2277, 36 years after the setting of fallout 2 and 200 years after the nuclear war  that devastated the game's world in a future where international conflicts culminated in into an war between the U.S. China in the second half of the 21st. You play  an inhabitant of Vault 101, a survival shelter designed to protect from nuclear fallout. You live there happily until your dad James opens the only door to the outside world and disappears without any explanation. The  Overseer believes that the you were involved in your father's escape, and sends the Vault's security force to arrest you This leaves the you little choice but to also escape from the Vault, with the hope of locating his father and finding out why he left. Form there the world is your to explore.


The game includes the original game as well as all five of the Fallout 3 add on packs. Operation Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel,  Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta. This means more endless exploring the Capital Wasteland an new areas. 


I give this game and 8 out 10
Try It Out the game dose have bugs but it still very fun game.

Dragon Age Origins for ps3

Let me get this out first I never played  an Bioware game before in my life and I was blown way by the story. An story is one of major reason I love this game so much.. 


The story take place in a fictional kingdom of Ferelden. You can play either the role of a warrior, mage or rogue and choice of human dwarf  and elf. Then you get to choose your one of the six origin stories Human Noble ,Magi  Dalish Elf or City Elf, Dwarf Commoner or Dwarf Noble. each will take you around 4 hours to get threw. Once you pick origin make your character the real fun begins. I going to use female dwarf noble warrior to give you an idea of how the story can play out.

My name is Cassak Aeducan as the King's second child and member of the respected house Aeducan. One day a great feast is held to celebrate the my appointment as Orzammar's newest commander. Gorim and me decide to go and watch the proving and  see the Merchants in the Diamond Quarter one of them even and nice looking dagger. Then my two brothers show up Trian the oldest and Bhelen the youngest. Trian stop me and flak for not being at the feast I told him that I had an few hours to spare an want to proving he didn't like answers an left. The proving was ok Frandolin Ivo won I guess should of enter oh well. I decide to go back to place for my feast. That when I meet Duncan an Grey Warden. 


The combat is very different than the pc version. The major difference is the lack of is the game's top-down view is gone, with the camera locked to a relatively close third-person perspective on the party member you're controlling. This can be a problem if you play on any thing above normal. But for me this wasn't a big problem i still got to play an great game.

Demo Reviews Crysis 2

Now let me get this out of the way I never play  Crysis  before I'am not much pc gamer I do play morrwind and age of empires form time to time.  I looking around psn for some new demo to try out when seen Crysis 2 ok why not never pass up something if it free a wise man once said or was it me.

 Now I don't play a lot of online multiplayer game just cod mw2 ,black ops  and demon's soul's.The demo it just multiplayer

The guns are the run of the mill gun that I have seen in other multiplayer shooter like cod
It took me about 5 mins get match going that might been time I was playing 
the map feel small for the power ups that you have.
when you shoot at someone empty whole the clip into an still standing. Then turn kill you in one shoot that bull




 I would give this a try it for you self for demo as for the game for me I wait till hit 30$.

2012 Alone in the Dark

The other day I was watching  2012 on the dvr record the weekend I had free starz . When that one scene look oddly familiar to me. You see I just got  done playing Alone the Dark on ps3 happen to notice that both the movie an game have almost the very same scenes.

Lost in the D.C. Wasteland part 2

The following contains spoilers for Fallout 3 

The giant vault door began to close behind me. I suddenly felt very alone and frighten. Why would dad want to come out here for in ways. Its look like nothing can survive out here for very long. I'm not going to survive very long if I don't find supplies an shelter. I need to take stock of what I have an try to ration it the best I can. I have some food and medicine. I have about 16 peaces of  Radroach meat  I try some yuck it taste like old meat but it better than nothing. I have some Stimpaks  around 10 or so dad told me to use when I'm hurt bad. I need to find water if and food I'm going to make it out 

What do I have in weapons and ammo. Hmm a 10mm handgun that  Amata gave with about 120 round's left I need to try to save my ammo I don't if there will be more to find. An couple of Police batons I took from the dead guards one in petty bad I wonder if I can repair it.  Well that work I have one baton now I guess taking the engineer corse help. An a bb gun dad gave when I was 10 don't know how helpful it will be out here.

Some how I don't think this  Jumpsuit  well offer me much protection out here.  These security armor and helmet I took from locker in the  interrogation room should do the trick. I should look around for shelter. It looks I could get a good around from over there a sign says scenic overlook. I see some bunt out building down there and a water tower I wonder if the water is clean. I think will go check it out an see if there are any thing i can use down there.

I mange to find my way down with any problems. I start looking around for any thing useful. I mange to find some old empty bottles laying around.  I wonder if I could fill these with water from the tower over there. I spotted  an old refrigerator I'm surprise that it still food and alcohol in it. maybe there people who mange to survive out here after all.

Now that have some food I should check out that water tower. I fill one of the old bottles that I have found with some with some water when all of sudden my Pip-Boy 3000 start make a clicking noise the Geiger counter has gone off the water is irradiated. I can't drink that I may not have a choice its either drink this or die of thirst it tastes nasty but it better than nothing.

Suddenly I hear strange noise It sound like some one talking. I quickly hide behind the back of one the burnt out houses. I quietly peak around the corner I spotted what is making that sound. A small flying robot playing some music it very patriotic. Now it playing something different it sound like man talking.  "Let's talk about government, shall we? Or more specifically, your government, dear America. The Enclave. Just who is the Enclave? Why, now that's simple, the Enclave is you, America. The Enclave is your sister, your aunt, your friend, your, your neighbor. And well yes, the Enclave is me as well, heh heh, uh hah. As your president, it is my responsibility to preside over our great democracy. So, as your president, I am the voice, I am the heart, and soul of the Enclave. That is to say, I am the voice, heart, and soul of America. But only together, together, can we hope to reach our full potential. The way we were before the war. Whole. Beautiful. Powerful. I found some food and water now I to find some shelter for the night Then I can look for dad in the morning. A sign reads MEGATON with a  arrow pointed up this old road Megaton maybe it a town or something. Hopeful the people are friendly an can help me find my dad.

My name is Elli inhabitant of Vault 101 a fallout shelter in the Washington D.C. area. I had an happy childhood instead the vault.  All is peaceful inside the vault till one . My friend Amata came an told me about my father escape and that Overseer thought I had something to with it. She said that he sent his security force to arrest me.  She give 10mm handgun with some ammo it doesn't go to for well the guards. Along I the way recuse  Amata from her Father the Overseer who was interrogating  her about my where about's .Ask him why did he send his goons attack me he said it was for the good of the vault. I put him jail cell and lock the door. After that  I manage to make my way to the Overseer office it was there I found the body of Jonas that asshole had him kill. after I use the computer in office I open an secret passageway to the vault entrance. I got the giant vault 101 door open and step out into sun light for the first time in my life
